Philosophy

Art is the physical representation of ideas, both personal and collective, which enables us to experience familiar things in an unfamiliar way.

My focus when creating art is not to try to match the perfection found in the natural world, but rather to exhibit the fundamental forms of our physical surroundings in a way that captures energy and essence, allowing us that shift towards a new perspective.

I am of the opinion that art should be a synergistic experience between maker and viewer. There is no art without the observer, and there can be no wrong interpretation. See what you will, feel what you feel.
